New signatory to the UN Global Compact

Point Advisory is pleased to announce that we are now a signatory to the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, joining over 9,000 businesses and non-business participants across 135 countries in the world’s leading and largest corporate sustainability initiative.

The UN Global Compact is a call to companies around the world to voluntarily align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take actions in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Point Advisory CEO, Neil Salisbury, says that “As a leading sustainability services company it is important that we not only show our commitment to the principles but continue to help our clients create a positive impact towards the principles and Sustainable Development Goals.”

We encourage all our clients to consider becoming a signatory and to join the local Global Compact Network Australia (GCNA) and benefit from access to workshops, forums and resources aimed at learning, sharing, networking and capacity-building around a broad range of sustainability issues.

This year, the GCNA celebrates its tenth anniversary and is planning its inaugural 2019 Global Compact Australia Conference.
