Welcoming James to the Point Advisory’s Sydney office. As a Senior Consultant with the team he will focus on Sustainability Services.
James is a passionate advocate for increased ambition and accelerated action from businesses on climate change and other pressing sustainability issues.
James’ academic background is in geography, with a Bachelor of Environments from University of Melbourne. Recently, he has completed courses from the PRI Academic and Climate Disclosure Standards Board to better communicate with investor audiences.
James has spent the past few years at the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance where he collaborated with the hotel sector on responses to its material issues of climate change, water scarcity, human rights, and youth employment. Previously James worked for Business in the Community, a not-for-profit business network where he developed a benchmarking tool that assessed the performance of an organisation against the Sustainable Development Goals and its peers.
Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family and friends, bushwalking and swimming in the ocean.
