At Point Advisory, we develop practical, intuitive and flexible tools to help our clients manage their sustainability programs efficiently and effectively. When developing tools, we spend the time to properly understand our clients' needs. We use our in-house data analytics and programming capabilities find the best way of navigating the perennial challenge of establishing and maintaining connectivity to data sources. And we use our design expertise to ensure the user experience is optimised. Below are some examples of tools we have developed.

Net zero emissions pathways tool

We develop net zero tools, refined through extensive real-world experience, to enable our clients to measure their impacts, set targets and develop strategies to shift towards net zero emissions.

We have learned that the best tools for modelling net zero pathways are:

interactive, to enable users to explore different pathways and understand the effectiveness of different opportunities
flexible, so that pathways can be adapted as circumstances change (e.g. new technologies come online or new corporate commitments are made)
updateable, so that they continue to add value to the client long after we are gone.

Carbon footprinting tools

We know that some businesses want to go carbon neutral, but can't afford the time or cost of going through the detailed process required by the prevailing standards.

To help, we've developed a simple carbon footprinting tool, where these businesses can obtain a corporate greenhouse gas emissions profile and then voluntarily purchase carbon offsets to neutralise their emissions.

The tool is easy to use, and requires very basic and easily accessible information to generate the carbon emissions profile. Once users have calculated their footprint they can also request a quote to buy verified carbon offsets, such as those approved under the Climate Active program.
