Christopher has over five years’ experience in environmental and sustainability-based roles within the private and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining Point Advisory, he worked at the Alliance for Water Stewardship Asia-Pacific supporting the organisation’s financial management and contributing towards programs and projects within the water sector. Christopher brings with him experience in data analysis, community and stakeholder engagement, and project and program management.
Christopher holds a Master of Environment degree, focusing on sustainability and climate change. Through his research, he investigated how Gippsland’s craft brewing industry was supporting the region’s transition to a more environmental and socially sustainable local economy. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Environmental Science double-degree and received the Dean’s Merit list award for graduating within the top 3%.
From is work and studies, Christopher has become passionate about building capacity within communities and developing localized approaches to sustainability and climate-based challenges.
In 2020, Christopher launched a sustainability career themed podcast series in collaboration with the Climactic Collective and Sustainability Team at the University of Melbourne. PEN Podcasts continues to this day and assists environmental students in establishing professional connections, understanding different career paths and gaining skills in media and communications.
Outside of work, Christopher enjoys hiking, playing music and travelling.
