Wayfinding Signage (BIM)

Case Study

Point Advisory was commissioned to provide Wayfinding Signage Services (BIM) for a new Hospital in Australia. This project required a very high level of detail and careful project planning as more than 3,000 different signs had to be first placed in a extensive BIM model and then later updated floor by floor with the relevant wayfinding signage content as it was made available.

As part of this project several updates were required along the way due to the complex nature of the project and sheer volume of data involved. The work was undertaken by Point Advisory part time over several months and included a team that varied in size from 2-6 people depending on the work load requirements each month.

The software used in the project included Revit 2014 and Navisworks 2014.
