Case Study
Evaluation of the Queensland Indigenous Land and Sea Rangers program for the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection (EHP).
Our economist worked with Roberts Evaluation to deliver the economic evaluation component of this government grant program which provides funding for ranger positions across remote regions of Queensland.
Rangers activities are tailored to the needs of each specific region and deliver benefits across the Triple Bottom Line, in particular significant employment and associated social benefits in areas where little other opportunity exist.
The findings of the program will help the Department to improve the design and evaluation of subsequent phases of the program.
