Evaluation of the Emergency Management Cluster Pilot & Municipal Emergency Resourcing Program

Client: Local Government Victoria

Point Advisory partnered with specialised evaluation firm First Person Consulting to evaluate this government grant program designed to assists councils across Victoria to fulfil their responsibilities around emergency management and planning.

Our joint team was commissioned by Local Government Victoria (LGV) to evaluate two approaches for providing this support:

1. the Emergency Management Cluster Pilot for an alliance of councils in Central Victoria; and
2. the Municipal Emergency Resourcing Program.

The evaluations aim to help LGV and the Municipal Association of Victoria (MAV) improve the support they are providing to the local government sector.

Our economist led the quantitative side of the evaluation.
