Angus joins Point Advisory as a Consultant in the Climate Change team.
Angus is a chemical engineer with experience across sustainability, manufacturing and supply chain planning. Angus’ passion for sustainability was developed during his time at university, participating in the Engineers Without Borders Humanitarian Design Summit and volunteering on a project to design and prototype a waste-to-energy system for use in rural agricultural communities. This led to a role in the sustainability team at 4 Pines Brewing, where Angus worked on multiple waste projects and assessed the environmental impact of brewery operations.
As a graduate, Angus joined O-I Glass as a manufacturing engineer, where he led a project to establish an environmental roadmap to maintain air emissions and wastewater compliance at 11 Asia Pacific sites over the next 10 years. Through this work Angus developed good project management skills, and a strong understanding of emissions and GHG reporting frameworks. Most recently, he worked as Supply Chain Analyst and Planner, developing his analytical and problem-solving skills through strategic capacity planning, and engaging cross-functionally with operations and sales teams.
Angus holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours) degree from the University of New South Wales.
Outside of work Angus enjoys spending time at the beach surfing, snorkelling and scuba diving.
